As a health care practitioner, I have always practiced Universal Precautions.  What does that mean?  Proper hand hygiene techniques (hand washing and sanitizer), masking when appropriate, gloves when dealing with possible exposure to blood or body fluid or infectious materials and, proper hard surface cleaning.  Linens are washed in high temperatures. Disposables are NEVER reused.  Instruments are cleaned, disinfected, or disposed of, as per Alberta Health Services Guidelines.

This has always been my practice, and it will continue to be.

Please note our guidelines:

We will continue to screen clients.  A screening tool will be used at each visit to assess for symptoms.  We are not doing temperature checks.  If you are ill, please reschedule your appointment.  Also, we ask all of our clients to follow the guidelines below:

  1. Do not arrive for your appointment early.  Please wait in your car until your appointment time, then come on in!  This allows us the time to properly clean and disinfect our space.

  2. Face masks will be mandatory to enter, regardless of the July 1,2021 removal of the general indoor provincial mask mandate.  (Please supply your own.)

  3. A hand sanitizer station will be at the door, please clean your hands as you come in.

  4. You will be asked to wear slippers upon entry, and they will be provided at the door.

  5. Retail products are available but we kindly ask that we handle the products for you.

MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL: If you are sick (any kind of illness such as a cold, nausea/vomiting, flu, etc.), please re-book your appointment.  We love our clients, and want to keep you healthy.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me!
